About This Spot

Le sol Restaurant unfolds as a quietly vibrant corner of Alicante, where Mediterranean flavors meet an artist’s touch in every detail. Stepping inside, you’re embraced by an intimate, warm pace—somewhere between the welcoming buzz of a neighborhood gathering spot and the contemplative calm of a creative studio. The walls, adorned with the owner’s own paintings, create a living backdrop that invites you to linger, as much for the artwork as for the company you keep.

The atmosphere carries the charm of a relaxed but thoughtfully curated space, where colors and textures mingle with soft murmurs and clinking glasses. It feels like a place treasured by locals and wanderers who appreciate the magic of shared moments around a table. Here, meals aren’t just calories but small, savory stories woven from Mediterranean ingredients with subtle global twists. The food arrives with a balance of rustic comfort and imaginative flair—each plate presented with a care that hints at the chef’s quiet passion and a narrative waiting to unfold.

Cracking open a wine, savoring a slice of a rich dish, or catching the sun’s warm spill through the windows, Le sol encourages a kind of unhurried enjoyment. It’s the kind of place where conversations float easily, laughter feels natural, and the art of dining is as much about texture and taste as it is about atmosphere and connection. Whether you find yourself drawn to their classic takes or more unexpected flavors, the experience always feels honest and heartfelt, like sharing a special recipe handed down with friends.

For those who treasure a table that feels uniquely alive—where the scent of Mediterranean herbs mingles with the hum of local life, where the space almost hums with stories—it’s worth setting aside time to immerse fully. Le sol Restaurant is not just a stop along your path, but a quiet invitation to slow down, savor, and discover the soul of Alicante through thoughtful food and human moments.

Recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great place with great food! The way they cook fish is amazing! Finger licking. The restaurant belongs to an artist, she has her paintings in the restaurant.

Really nice choice of tapas, good portions, excellent wine list, helpful and friendly service. We stayed there all night and really enjoyed the atmosphere including the art and the colony of cats who watched from afar.

What an experience was Le Sol. My friend saw this place on her way into the center of Alicante and insisted we had to go and try it. At first glance and walking into the place I felt a sense of clutterness and bomb of colors. The menu works as you pick 4 plates and it includes bread and dessert each. We ordered the Camembert with truffle, goat cheese salad, Thai lasagna, and huevos rotos. The star for us was the Thai lasagna meanwhile all the others were okay. It was a lot of food for two people and we didn’t end up finishing the huevos rotos. Overall, I would say it’s more of an atmosphere experience than a food experience but had a nice time!

Extremely delicious the food, the decor outdoors and indoors is absolutely beautiful and the "Huevos rotos" are way too awesome, I had to order two of them cause they were so good

Beautiful restaurant. Attentive staff. The food is a modern twist on traditional dishes. We had the 4 dish menu, with bread and desert. All left full!
